The History of SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN Pre-Debut Era (2012–2015)

SEVENTEEN’s pre-debut began in 2012 with Seventeen TV, a live-streaming show that introduced the trainees. After gaining public attention through performances, they launched their reality show Seventeen Project: Debut Big Plan in 2015, which concluded with their debut on May 26, 2015.

2015: Early Success
